The foundational course of BFAM is Oaks of Righteousness.  This course is part of the curriculum for Shielded by Faith Recovery Center and is offered to the men incarcerated at Lansing Correctional Facility in Lansing, KS.

The Oaks Ministry is an inner healing and  discipleship ministry designed to help people suffering from various forms of abuse, oppressive spiritual strongholds, addictions, or difficulty in trusting and engaging in relationships. 

Through this course each participants learn to use the power of the name of Jesus in prayer and how to break spiritual strongholds. 

Strongholds include:

• Unforgiveness
• The power of false beliefs
• Destructive vows  
• Beliefs that have halted their maturity
• Generational curses 
• Soul ties 

 Through prayer they “cleanse their temple” and make room for God’s truth and love to permeate, heal, and transform.
